ASIRT-KENYA

ASIRT Kenya is a non-governmental road safety organization based in Nairobi and is officially recognized by the Kenyan government.  The inauguration was a highly publicized event attended by U.S. Ambassador to Kenya, Johnnie Carson, Kenyan government officials, media and road safety stakeholders.

ASIRT Kenya advocates for the:

  • Effective enforcement of existing traffic regulations;
  • Expansion of road safety legislation;
  • Improvement of road signage, surface and infrastructure;
  • Creation of educational road safety programs and,
  • Establishment of vehicle safety standards and annual inspections

ASIRT Kenya is committed to working with governmental and private organizations and citizens of Kenya in an open, cooperative atmosphere that is characterized by integrity, professionalism, service and esteem for people.
